Social Determinants of Health and Interoperability Workgroup: The SDoH and Interoperability Workgroup is responsible for gaining insight into, and providing members resources about, emerging community initiatives focused on Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) data, Interoperability, social care platforms, and community referrals and partnerships.

Marketing and Communications Workgroup: The Marketing and Communications Workgroup is responsible for sharing best practices, researching, collecting, developing, reviewing and distributing marketing, communications, and promotions for Civitas and its member organizations.

Standards and Technology Operations Workgroup: The Standards and Technology Workgroup addresses information exchange and health care data standard issues, as well as other HIE and RHIC technology topics of interest and/or concern. The workgroups also creates opportunities for discussion and collaboration with subject matter expert in the Civitas Community.

Public Health Workgroup: The Public Health Workgroup provides a forum for members to convene on key topics of interest within public health. With direction from the co-chairs and Civitas leadership, participants will identify key areas of focus for public health efforts and provide expert guidance to Civitas members on the topics of public health, public health infrastructure, and partnerships that advance health equity.

Equity & Quality Workgroup (formerly Digital Measures and Measurement Workgroup): This workgroup assesses how to identify and measure quality and advancements in health equity. The workgroup will provide a forum for shared learning for members involved in health quality, equity, and digital measurements.

Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder Workgroup (BH/SUD WG): The Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder Workgroup will focus on advancing collaboration, data sharing, and best practices related to behavioral health and substance use services, with an emphasis on integration across care settings. (Launching in 2026)

Rural Health Transformation Workgroup: The Rural Health Transformation Workgroup will focus on member efforts regarding the RHT grant, such as sharing unique challenges and opportunities, access to care, health information exchange, and innovative models. (Launching in 2026)

Public Policy and Advocacy Distribution List (formerly Government Relations and Advocacy Council)
